in Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger, thereby, This analysis
has been introduced to review the structure design criteria
as per related regulation. Especially, tube failure area of
nozzle inlet is the most vulnerable for tube fluid dynamic
stress due to induced vibration of flow into tube outside
and inside together therefore, this study was performed to
get how to decide the required tube outside diameter and
thickness for each design condition as well as tube
material properties considering the tube expectancy life.
Finally, this paper shows the importance of tube fluid
dynamic stress in Shell-Tube Heat Exchanger that is the
major cause of tube failure mechanism. In there also we got
realized that the tube failure caused by various reason and
particularly the required thickness for each tube outside
diameter should be conformed to TEMA(Standards of the
Tubular of Heat Exchanger Manufacturer Association)
recommendations considering equipment operation character
