The only calculations that may change are the use of the material for lower temperatures. For a material to move from Curve B to Curve C it must be normalized AND produced to fine grain practice. Material produced to a fine grain practice is normally used for moderate to low temperature service because the toughness of the material is enhanced. Fine grained steel, which is steel that contains a smaller grain size, would help regarding exemptions to impact testing in the Code.
