For your reference, this software was developed in 2001, until this time, I also have experience to draft nesting plan over graph paper, but it was hard time and inefficiency for me to do at that time, also I gonna simply say, when I see so many manufacturing company use AutoCad for their nesting of plate over BOM on fabrication drawing, I got a realized that we need nesting tools with Excel VBA it can be easily combined with another excel tools that may be Automatically created by imported BOM from Auto Cad file. and then, so if that possible, we can make drafting the plate nesting based on Excel environment instead of AutoCad. Actually, when I compare this with AutoCad, there is a merits, on the contrary, there is demerit, however, this means that sometimes, this is superior than AutoCad, sometimes, this is not superior. But, in case of that when we need plate area only, may be this is more powerful than AutoCad in the material procurement stage. However, we need plate nesting not only required area but we need CNC cutting, in this case actually, this is no longer useful because, this shows only drafting required quantity only. Let me gonna tell you, how to execute this pgm one by one 1. this has two sheets, one is main sheet and the other is BOM input sheet. and we can see pgm running bar at top of this main sheet. 2. In a main sheet, we need to input material information for reference in cutting plan, material, CP number, material area, thickness and then, CP plan information like as scale of material area for given BOM quantity. 3. And then, we go to BOM sheet as next sheet, we may import BOM information from excel file this also may be imported from AutoCad automatically. 4. Let"s go on next, we need to input shape symbol mark as shown on this sheet. 5. Now, we can confirm, how much required area based on BOM input data and then, if we need, we can adjust BOM quantity, but some case of shape of BOM, this not exactly correct so this is reference only, 6. Finally, we are ready to run pgm after input, at first we may see Pgm option massage box, how to do CP draft, but this only for your option without your special drafting scheme, pgm will decide it when you skip with enter key. 7.
